If we remember correctly Samsung said it would launch a new Fan Edition phone model every year, and for the past few days, we are hearing news and rumours about a new S21 model in the making. A cheaper alternative in the S21 line, the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE is supposedly coming sometime at the end of August, although there is a possibility that Samsung will postpone the launch date due to the ongoing coronavirus crisis and its consequences.

Specifications & Price
And what can we expect? Well, different rumours are going around the web, but here are the ones we think are the closest to what might become reality. Most likely it will adopt the Samsung Galaxy S21 design, however, according to OnLeaks, it will be slightly bigger - measuring 155.7 x 74.5 x 7.9mm (9.3mm at the camera bump) and having a 16.26 cm AMOLED display. The S21 FE will have a metal frame and a plastic back panel with a glass-like look. It will be available in various colours: light green, white, grey, violet, and pink shades.
At the front, we can expect a 32MP front-facing selfie camera and at the back three identical lenses with a downgrade from the 12MP main + 64MP telephoto + 12MP ultrawide combination of the Samsung Galaxy S21.
The new Fan Edition could hold a top-notch Snapdragon or Exynos chipset. If they will upgrade from the previous FE model, we could see the Snapdragon 888 and Exynos 2100, which are one the best chipsets on the market currently.
Some reports suggest there will likely be two storage options: 128GB and 256GB. Since we're talking about the FE model, we presume it will have a lower price tag than Samsung’s flagship devices. There are no firm rumours on the price for Samsung Galaxy S21 FE yet, still, we hope it will be somewhere in the same range as the first FE model, starting at AU$1,149 for a 5G model.
